Music Innovation Summer Institute
Music as a career, technology, creative and cultural art, and business is going through massive change. How can musicians, songwriters, and others in related creative and technological careers thrive in this changing environment? How will these industries change in the future? How can we design careers, companies, skills, and connections to thrive in Music from here to 2020?
Herb Alpert School of Music (HASoM) is in the unique position, especially with its new UCLA Center for Music Innovation, to give students from many schools and backgrounds a boost into the modern music environment and beyond.
We have designed an 8-unit combination of courses and professional/industry guests and connections to help bring music, technology, and innovation under the same roof for students desiring to focus on both music and technology in their future and current professional lives.
This program is open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and working professionals over the age of 18. This program is first-come, first-served.
