June 22, 2026 – All UC Students (If you enroll after the payment deadline, payment is due immediately.)
You will be system dropped from ALL summer courses. You must maintain fully-paid status throughout all enrolled sessions. Delinquency in full payment for ALL enrollments may result in being dropped from all summer courses and/or holds without prior notice.

You can find more information regarding summer aid here. Please contact the Financial Aid Department with questions regarding summer aid.
Drop & Refund Deadlines
The drop and refund deadline are NOT the same for most summer courses. Therefore, it is possible to drop a course and still be held liable for the full cost of the course.
Drop Deadlines:
*Courses may not be dropped once the final exam, paper, or project is attempted or submitted.*
- Impacted Courses: Students have until Friday of Week 1 of the course’s session to drop the course on MyUCLA. After Friday of Week 1, UCLA students must petition with their main advising unit.
- Non-Impacted Courses: Students have until the end of the session to drop a non-impacted course. During the final two weeks of the course, students must submit a Summer Drop Request Form to UCLA Summer Sessions. After the session has ended, UCLA students must petition with their main advising unit.
Refund Deadlines:
*Deadline depends on whether the course is impacted or non-impacted as well as duration.*
- Impacted Courses & Summer Intensives (SIS): Friday of Week 1 of the course’s session. After Friday of Week 1, you are liable for the full cost of the course.
- Non-Impacted Courses: Friday of Week 2 of the course’s session. After Friday of Week 2, you are liable for full cost of the course.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Starting April 15th, the $175 processing fee is assessed when UCLA students drop all summer courses and ultimately take 0 units regardless of when the courses are dropped.
