Financial Aid

Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to all eligible UCLA students, including students admitted to UCLA for fall quarter. To find out if you qualify for summer financial aid, please visit the linked page and contact the UCLA Financial Aid Office directly.
If you will be receiving aid for the summer term, your aid will likely disburse before the payment deadline for summer. If your aid is delayed but you have successfully submitted all required documents with your aid application on time, you may be placed on the Protect from Drop list to save your courses from the drop for non-payment.
Eligible financial aid students from other University of California (UC) campuses may apply for financial aid at their home UC campus for summer study at UCLA. Please check with your home UC campus financial aid office for more information.
If you plan to use financial aid from your home university, you assume full responsibility and are liable for all fees, regardless of if/when you receive aid, by our payment deadline.
If you are still waiting for your aid to be disbursed, check with your home UC financial aid office to see if you are on their Protect from Drop list.

OUT-OF-STATE OR INTERNATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
UCLA financial aid is NOT available to visiting out-of-state or international high school students.
While we do not offer scholarships for international or out-of-state students attending UCLA summer courses or programs, we highly encourage you to utilize scholarship search engines to explore potential financial aid opportunities:
While many of these scholarships may not cover the cost of summer tuition, getting an early start on scholarship applications can be beneficial to familiarize yourself with what funding opportunities may be available for your undergraduate studies.

These requests are managed by Student Accounts, not our office. If you have any questions please email thirdpartysponsor@finance.ucla.edu.
If you plan to use financial aid from your home university, you assume full responsibility and are liable for all fees, regardless of if/when you receive aid, by our payment deadline.
